Sarah Ann Aborn, HHP
My name is Sarah, and I was certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner through Heartwood Institute in Garberville, California in 1998. Weaving somatic therapy, coaching and classical tantra yoga throughout the 2+ decades that I have been working in this field, my passion lies in helping people befriend themselves. My method is based in cultivating a home base of self-love and acceptance to integrate the full spectrum of one’s emotional humanity. My mission is to empower people with tools to embody their wild, natural, BEAUTIFUL power, and to reclaim their inseperable connection with the divine. Some of my certifications include: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Zen Shiatsu Acupressure, Polarity Therapy, Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga instruction.
I completed my Life Coaching Certification through Relationship Coaching Institute in 2017 and later that year completed my EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) training with Jan L. Watkins. I continue to study the neuroscience of coaching, have written curriculum for Y4C (Yoga 4 Classrooms), and created the UPLEVEL: Self Healing Workbook.
I have crossed paths with many different teachers and methodologies as I have sought out Yoga in all the different places I’ve lived over the past 25 years. I am so blessed and in deep appreciation to all of my teachers along the way. I am honored to share what I have learned in a context of self-healing. I do so with respect and gratitude to the Non-Dual Saiva Tantric wisdom at the foundation of these Yoga lineages, and the plethora of ways that these teachings have informed my development, and continue to inform how I assist people in learning to take charge of their emotional healing and joyful, embodied living. May we all awaken to our true, divine nature, and may we celebrate the diverse, exalted beauty of our interconnected truth.
Currently I spearhead SHAKTI Healing Arts in Peterborough, NH, where I offer Embodied Emotional Healing sessions and showcase my latest lovechild: the Yin Mat. I am a grateful mother to my greatest source of joy, wisdom and lessons learned ~ Desmond!
